YouTube’s back (alright!)

So with the two year anniversary of my bookish YouTube channel coming and going last week, I decided to get back to making a few videos for my channel! I will obviously still be blogging primarily and there won’t be any set content every week like here where I post Tuesdays, Thursdays and occasionally Sundays, it will be as and when I have time to make and edit the videos and while I don’t have any regular work on at the moment I’m finding a little more time to fit it in  so I plan to make the most of it.

Last week I posted a video unboxing of the November NPC Crate which you can check out below, I will still post my written unboxing here next week but wanted to have both bases covered, I will endeavour to keep my blog spoiler free and have any spoiler content (other than unboxings obviously) kept to my YoutTube channel.

I’m also scarily close to three hundred subscribers on said channel now as well which to me still seems crazy, the fact that quite a few of my videos have over one thousand views (and we won’t even talk about that one with 10k) is insane to me and I’m so humbled that even when I took a break people were still subscribing to my channel and watching my videos. I hope you’ll also enjoy the things to come. Also, I’m not sorry for the Backstreet Boys reference in the title of this post.

Star Wars Battlefront / Mass Effect Live stream highlights.

This week I had planned to do a mini book haul but due to being super busy, unwell and having technical difficulties I’ve instead decided to bring you the best of the stream I did on Twitch on the evening of Day Five of Star Wars week for those of you that missed it. The plan was originally to just play Battlefront but the rig I was using couldn’t quite play it while also streaming so after a break I switched out to Mass Effect 3, one of my absolute favourite games! I apologise for the not quite up to standard editing but my hearing is a little out right now and I was unable to film any kind of intro. I hope you enjoy it all the same and I’ll promise I’ll have a book talk for you next week. *technology permitting.

TBR TAG – Booktube

28117424_10155040868531581_751126403_n.jpgAt the beginning of the year I decided I had way too many books to read still, seriously my TBR is HUGE, so big in fact it takes up three shelves and most the top of a dresser. Upon realising just how many books I still had to read and what great books had gotten lost in the dreaded stacks upon stacks that just kept growing I made the decision that this would be the year that I finally read them. Well, as many as I can manage. I still have ARC’s to read on top of this along with a few books coming out this year that I absolutely cannot miss (I know excuses, excuses!).  Excuses or not I figured that this TBR tag would help remind me of some of the great books I still had sitting on my shelves (mostly) waiting to be read.

Hello! Welcome to Fantastic Books and Where to Find Them

FBAWTFT

Welcome! So here at Fantastic Books we decided it was finally time to take the plunge into blogging. After doing a mix of all things bookish on YouTube for over a year now the decision was made to move reviews to blog format which I’ve been itching to get into for a long while AND NOW I’M HERE. I’m excited and nervous but looking forward to becoming part of the wonderful community and getting my blog on. Blogging opens up so much more flexibility of content and can’t wait to get stuck in. So watch this space, sign up if you’re interested, check out my socials and I’ll be back with my first review very very soon. Until next time!
