I know I say it every week but I honestly can’t believe that it’s Sunday already. I’m so not ready to go back to work tomorrow. This week’s prompt feels quite relevant as we’ve been pretty much stuck indoors since Tuesday due to the largest amount of snow fall we’ve had here in over fifty years and although I’m usually the first person to find any excuse to not leave the house normally I’ve been going a little stir crazy. This week’s prompt is Stuck in a lift.
6 Characters I’d like to be stuck in a lift with.
1. Jace Herondale – The Shadowhunter books
Duh. Although this isn’t as entirely for the reason you’d think. Not only would he be able to keep me calm with his sarcasm and wit but I’m fairly sure he’d probably be able to get us out of there.
2. Newt Scamander – Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them
If there’s anyone I could listen to talk on end it would probably be Newt. I’d love to hear about all his adventures and the creatures he’s met along the way.
3. Magnus Bane – The shadowhunter books
I feel like being stuck in a lift with Magnus Bane would be a lot of fun. I’m fairly certain he would conjure up or summon some cocktails and some comfy pillows and we’d just have a good chat.
4. Cassian from the A Court of Thorns and Roses books
I’m not sure if an Illyian stuck in a lift is a massively great idea (especially with their..impressive wingspan) but I can’t imagine Cass panicking and I’m sure he’d be more than enough of a distraction to stop me from panicking to.
5. Caleb Widowghast – From Season two of Critical Role
We’d probably both be super nervous until we simultaneously pull out books to read then spend ages talking about all the books we’ve read while fussing over Frumpkin.
6. Ben Solo/Kylo Ren – Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Maybe not for a long period of time but the half a minute or so Rey was stuck in an elevator for him turned out pretty well.
I’m not sure I feel like getting in a lift anytime soon now as although it would be lovely to be stuck in a lift with any of these six people I’m more likely to be stuck in it with a grumpy three year old and/or a husband who is scared of lifts.
Don’t forget to use the #SixForSunday hashtag on Twitter and your social of choice if you do this so I can check it out and see what six people you wouldn’t mind being stuck in a lift with.
