S4S – Characters you’d go on holiday with

Six for Sunday

Its Six for Sunday time and this week the prompt from Steph at A Little but A Lot is “Characters you’d go on holiday with” which was pretty fun to think about.

Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien
Bilbo is my favourite hobbit, he’s just the right mix of laid back and adventorous for me and I think we’d have a lovely chilled out holiday (for the most part) with just enough getting into trouble and spontaneously going on day trips which we both instantly regret but also enjoy once they’re over.

The Paper and Hearts Society from The Paper and Hearts Society by Lucy Powrie
I couldn’t pick a single one of them, they work best as a package deal to be honest as they kind of balance each other out. Unsire if I’d be able to let Oliva plan the whole thing though or if we’d have to supervise her.

Hugo from The Starlight Watchmaker by Lauren James
I want to both take Hugo on a holiday and also let him take me on a holiday. I feel like he could show me some pretty amazing places but I also would love to show him some of the amazing places we have here on earth, especially somewhere with lots of plant life.

Squad 312 from Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
It would probably go terribly, almost certainly get arrested or shot at but you can bet it would be worth it.

Zuzana from Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
I feel like Zuzana would be amazing to go on holiday with and would be a lot of fun. I think she would probably get me to come out of my comfort zone and try new things but not too much too fast.

Merry and Pippin from The Lord of the Rings

These two just seem so super chill fun to hang out with, they’re my favourite characters from the Lord of the Rings. I just need to make sure I remember second breakfast!

  1. Awesome choices! I am so in love with Squad 312 and will probably follow them to the ends of the universe despite the trouble๐Ÿคฉ
